Karen M. (Smith) Woodbury, 52, of Whitinsville passed away on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Kenneth M. Woodbury. She was born on May 29, 1962 in Whitinsville, the daughter of the late Robert W. and Norma L. (Temple) Smith. She was a graduate of Hopkinton High School. Karen loved nature and being outdoors. She enjoyed bird watching and cross stitching. Her faith in God brought her true comfort and joy, and her positive spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kenneth, and her daughters, Brandie M. Woodbury of Mendon, Darcey L. wife of Nick Carey of Clayton, NC, Lacey A. Woodbury of Millis, and Loreena E. wife of Joshua Paull of Whitinsville; 3 brothers, Ken Smith of Hopkinton, Karl Smith of St. Albans, ME, and Roy Smith of Uxbridge; 2 sisters, Kathy McGinnis of Charlton and Sue Juntunen of SC; 2 granddaughters, Harley Carey and Maisy Carey, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
