Gardiner - Edwin C. Dill, 89, died Sunday afternoon in Gardiner General Hospital.
He was born Feb. 28, 1881, in Gardiner, the son of Joseph and Helen Dudley Dill.
Mr. Dill was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include four sons, Lincoln F., Vance R., of Gardiner, Carroll E. of Randolph and Stanley A. Dill of New York;  a sister, Mrs. Lottie Clary of Gardiner, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at 39 Washington Ave..
