Erwin W. Tarr
Leeds - Erwin W. Tarr, 64, died Sunday morning at St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a short illness.
Born Oct. 16, 1901, at Gardiner, he was the son of Charles and Effie Bubier Tarr. He was educated at Gardiner. In 1943 he married Arlene Nadeau at Randolph. He was a construction engineer employed by Lord Electrical Co. Mr. Tarr was a Brotherhood of Electrical Workers of America and of the Gardiner Elks.
Surviving besides his widow are five sons, Robert of Randolph, Alphie of Somerville, Mass., Melvin of Sunapee, N.H., Dwinald of Auburn, Erwin of Leeds; five daughters, Mrs. Frances Moody of Pittston, Mrs. Lorraine Goodwin of Hayden, Ala., Mrs. Ellen Morrell of Winthrop, Mrs. Shirley Dysart of Bath, Janet Tarr of Leeds; and 23 grandchildren.

Died

In Lewiston, Nov. 21, Erwin W. Tarr, aged 64. Funeral services will be held from the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, Tuesday at 1 pm. Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening. Interment Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
