Boothbay Harbor - Mrs. Amelia May York, a former resident, died Sunday at York, Pa..
She was born Sept. 16, 1887 at Minot, the daughter of Edward and Anna Davis Verrill.  She had lived for 39 years at Boothbay Harbor and was the widow of Capt. Charles York.
Mrs. York was a member of the Methidist Church and its affiliates, Boothbay Harbor.
Surviving are a son, Melvin of Milwaukee;  two daughters, Mrs. Walter Williams of Mass., and Mrs. Benjamin Swigart of York, Pa., two sisters, Mrs. Fern Ginn of Minot and Mrs. Bernice Tibbetts of Boothbay Harbor;  two brothers, Leonard Verrill of Cape Elizabeth and Bessie Verill of Connecticut;  seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday from Center Minot Church.  Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn.
