The death of Mrs. George H. Gilley of Southwest Harbor occurred Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Dunton, on Ash Place, after a three weeks illness of pheumonia.  She came to Bar Harbor shortly before Christmas for a visit and contacted the disease while here.  She had been critically ill since first taken and after the first few days the doctors gave little hope for her recovery.  She was 59 years old.  Besides the husband she leaves three daughters, Mrs. George Dunton of Bar Harbor, Mrs. Frank Perkins of Southwest Harbor, Mrs. Daniel McEachern of Northeast Harbor;   and three sons, Clayton E, Gilley of Stonington, Frank F. Gilley of Southwest Harbor, and Lieut. Phillp Gilley of the Dental Corps, USA, now serving in France.  The internent was at Southwest Harbor.
