Augusta - Funeral services for Fred B. Gilley were held at 15 Flagg Street Friday afternoon with David Myraz of the Skowhegan Congregational  of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.
Delegations attended from the Telephone Pioneers, the New England Telephone Co., and the Augusta and Skowhegan Jehovah's Witnesses.
Bearers were John Hagg, Austin Cowing, Al Wood and Paul Leach.
Burial was in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery where Mr. Myraz gave committal prayers and the flag was presented to Mr. Gilley's widow, Mrs. Rena G. Gilley.
