Augusta - Andrew H. Veilleux, 74, of 184 Water Street died Sunday night at the Augusta General Hospital after a long illness.  He was born in Waterville, July 12, 1896, the son of Joan and Caroline Boulette Veilleux (Vigue).
Prios to his retirement Mr. Veilleux had been employed by Bates Mfg. Co..  Edwards Division, in the Spinning Room and prior to that had been employed by Lockwood Mills of Waterville.  He was a member of St. Augustin Catholic Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
A high requiem Mass will be sung Wednesday morning at St. Augustin Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in St. Frances de Sales Cemetery Waterville.
