HELEN  M.  'KENNEY"  CORMIER

Portland, Maine

M. Helen Cormier, 98, of North Street and formerly of Bar Harbor, died Tuesday at Evergreen Manor Nursing.
She was born in South Brewer, a daughter of Aaron T. and Mary Edmonds Kenney, and attended schools in South Brewer.
Mrs. Cormier was a receptionist for Dr. Gordon S. Young in Bar Harbor until she retired in 1970.
Mrs. Cormier was a past communicant of Holy Redeemer Church.
Her husband, Edward Cormier, died in 1951, and a daughter, Helen Cormier, died in 1947.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Jane) Ober- meyer of Kennebunk; a son, Robert Cormier of Factoryville, Pa.; four grandchildren and two great-grand- children.
There will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Most Holy Trinity Church, and burial will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Bar Harbor. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Beach and James streets, Saco.
