Augusta - Ernest Wilbur Hunt, 80, of 270 State Street, died at his home Saturday.
He was born July 4, 1885, in Gardiner, the son of Harrison and Nellie Brann Hunt.
For many years he was employed by the N.E. Telephone and Tel. Co..  He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Lapham Hunt of Augusta and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday from 15 Flagg Street, Augusta.
