EBEN B. CARTER

Eben B. Carter died at his home on Bay View Ave. Friday, November 1st, from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. He was born at Dedham Maine February 4, 1882, the son of Eben B. and Georgia Young Carter. He came to Bar Harbor about 1898 and a few years ago sustained a very serious accident while employed by the Clark Coal Co., which resulted in a broken back and paralysis of the legs and had been confined constantly to the house ever since. He was highly respected and was at all time patient in the affliction. He leaves two children. His wife died a year ago.
