Hallowell - Annie S. Sherman died Tuesday morning at her home on 402 Water Street after a long illness. Born in Hallowell on December 8, 1875, she was the daughter of Samuel S. and Emma G. Walker.
She was employed for thirty years by the Johnson Brothers Shoe Company until ill health forced her to leave two years ago. Respected by all who knew her, she was a kife long resident of this city, always making her home at the house in which she was born.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Pray of Hallowell; two sisters, Miss Lizzie E. Walker and Mrs. Grimes of Hallowell; one grand daughter; one newhew and two nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home.
