Mrs. Eliza Briggs, who passed much of last year in town with her daughter, Mrs. Angie Folsom, passed to the higher life Thursday night, June 28, at the home of another daughter, in Guliford with whom she had been visiting for several weeks.  Mrs. Briggs was 93 years of age and has been in unusually well for her years.  Funeral services were held in Guliford Sunday at 1 o'clock, from the home of her daughter.
