Cranberry Isles - It was with feelings of deep sorrow that the many friends at this place heard of the death of Mrs. Sarah W. Suminsby at Bar Harbor last week.  She was one of seven daughters of Justus and Thankful Gilley, all of whom were born and grew to womenhood on Great Cranberry Island.


note;  her husband was William N Suminsby.  Sarah died on 12 Apr 1901 at Bar Harbor.  Her parents were J.W. Gilley and Thankful  Higgins. 
Cause of death was Brights Disease.  She was born on Cranberry Isles and died at age of 55.
