EDWARD  L.  MILLIKEN

Edward L. Milliken, 51, of Ellsworth, died Saturday.
He was born Jan. 3,  1917, at Ellsworth, the son of Gardiner and Laura (Alley) Milliken.
He had worked as an auto mechanic for 32 years in the Bar Harbor and Ellsworth areas, and was a member of the 100F Lodge in Ellsworth, the Trenton Grange and the Pomona Garange.  He was a veteran of World War 2.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Milliken of Ellsworth;  two sons, Vaughn of Trenton and George of Junction City, Kan.;  one daughter, Mrs. Elene Henderson of Burlington, Vt.;  four grandchildren;  two stepsons, Colby Perkins of Ellsworth and Clair Perkins of Newburgh;  one step-daughter, Mrs. Louis Ward of Winterport;  one brother, Harold of Ellsworth Falls;  three sisters, Mrs. Martha Pinkham of Lamorine, Mrs. Elanor Webster of Claremont, NH, and Mrs. Arlene Davis of Grafton, Ohio;  several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Jordan Funeral Home with the Rev. Alger Geary Officiating.
Burial was in Woodbine Cemetery.
