Frank Wesley Higgins, 68, of Bar Harbor died Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.
He was born at North Ellsworth October 28,  1894, son of Frank and Lenore (Trutlelot) Higgins.
He was a caretaker at Kebo Valley Golf Club for many years.
Surviving are a son, F. Wesley Jr. of Otter Creek;  two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Gray and Mrs. Shirley Liscomb, both of Bar Harbor;  two grandsons;  several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Mcfarland Funeral Home, the Rev. William Bixby of the Mt. Desert Larger Parish officiating.
Burial was in the North Ellsworth Cemetery.
