Bremen - Albert J. Axtman, 77, died at his home in Keens Neck, Sunday night. He was born in Crambridge, Mass. July 26, 1894, the son of Albert A. and Clara Keene Axtman. He lived in Bremen for the past 20 years.
He was a retired mechanical engineer and previously lived in Medford, Mass.. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waldoboro; member of the American Legion Post;n n Arlington Mass; a Vetern of WW1; a Mason and during the last 20 years was employed by the Roland A. Genthner Corp..
He is survived by his widow, Marian Hatch Axtman of Bremen, one son, William H. of Montclair, N.J.; one half sister, Mrs. Eleanor Justesen of Boise, Idaho; five grandchildren; one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Hall Funeral Home, 77 Main Street, Waldoboro, with the Rev. David G. Swensen officiation.
Burial will be in the Achorn Cemetery, Rockland.
