Edwin F. Romer, 78, of Southwest Harbor, died Saturday evening in his home after a long illness.
Born in Tremont August 16, 1881, he was the son of Joseph and Julia (Gott) Romer.
Surviving are a sister; Annie De Coste, and a brother, Guy, of Southwest Harbor.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Mt. Heigth Cemetery, Southwest Harbor, the Rev. William D. Mitchell of the Mount Desert Congregational Church officiating.
