Winthrop - Mrs. Alice O. Armstrong, 93, died Tuesday morning at an Augusta Hospital.  She was born in Cutler, Jan. 30, 1878, the daughter of James B. and Lydia Ackley Huntley.
She had lived in Machias 75 years.  Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Center Street Congregational Church, Machias;  Ladies Social Relief Corps and the Mothers Club of the Model School.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Benson, Winthrop, and Mrs. Katherine McKenney, Unity, one sister, Miss Ethel Huntley, Cutler;  four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Machias.
