BANGOR – Gloria G. Stewart Woodbury of Bangor, Maine, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 after a brief illness. Gloria was born on March 14, 1930 in St. Johns, New Brunswick.
She married Louis K. Woodbury on February 25, 1950 and they were married for 49 years until the time of his death, August 20, 1999. Gloria spent her days taking care of her family and her home. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and knitting for her family.
She leaves behind children, Richard and his wife, Kathy; Robert, Michael, Gary and Crystal; grandchildren, Kelly, Robbie, Michael Jr., Jacob, Tonya, Randy, Jazzy and Vanessa as well as great-grandchildren Gage and Isabella; a special son-in-law, Bernard Wayne Case.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Case and by a brother, George Wilson. She will be remembered by special friends, Kathy Bearce, Luna Bearce, Carol Powers and Barbara Powers.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Alyssa Roberts, the staffs of St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Bangor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held at Mt Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
