New Harbor - Ernest Hallett, 92, died Saturday at a Sanford Hospital. He was born May 4, 1878, at sidney, the son of Charles and Hattie Kenney Hallett.
He operated a farm for many years in Limerick and served in the U.S. Navy during WW1.
He is survived by four step children, Mrs. Susia Hanns and Mrs. Marion Brackett, both of New Harbor, Leroy Brackett of Pemaquid Harbor, Stanley Brackett of North Weymouth, Mass., and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services are today at 10 a.m. at the Strong Funneral Home, Damariscotta, with the Rev. Desmond Parker officiating.
Burial will be in New Harbor Cemetery.
