WOODARD - DALE F. - Sangerville, 2009
SANGERVILLE – Dale F. Woodard, 72, died unexpectedly Feb. 27, 2009, at his home. He was born Oct. 31, 1936, in Rochester, N.Y., the son of Clinton and Louise (Andrews) Woodard. He was a master electrician for more than 50 years and was involved in law enforcement with several county agencies. Dale also taught electrical wiring at the Vocational Education Department at Hermon High School and Mount Blue High School. He was a member of Abner Wade Masonic Lodge, Sangerville, for more than 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (McPhetres) Woodard of Sangerville; two children, Debbie Young and her husband, Eric, of Milo, and Dean Woodard of Derby; a very special granddaughter, Tiffany Dale Young of Milo; three sisters, Marilyn Leighton and her husband, Alton, of Guilford, Lorraine Willey of Guilford and Paula Philbrick and her husband, John, of Virginia; two brothers, Carl Woodard and his wife, Hilda, of Stillwater and Kenton Conroy of Pleasant Ridge; two sisters-in-law, Vi Woodard of Monson and Fay Corson of Bingham; nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held later in the spring at Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford.
