Nellie D. Soper, 88, wife of the late George E. Soper of Bar Harbor, died Sunday in Bangor at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William P. Newman.
Surviving are three sons, G. Henry and Everett L. of Bar Harbor and Maurice B. of Arlington, Mass.;  two daughters,  Mrs. Clifford H. West of Millbridge, and Mrs. William P. Newman of Bangor;  13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Sherman Funeral Home, Bar Harbor, Wesnesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
