WOODARD - BRUCE ALLEN - Orone, 2016

ORONO – Bruce Allen Woodard, 67, died January 22, 2016, in Orono after a period of declining health. He was born in Skowhegan on June 27, 1949, the son of Kenneth and Florence (Taylor) Woodard. He was raised in Bingham and graduated from Bingham High School.
Bruce was well known as a gregarious person, always having a big hello for everyone. He took great pleasure in following the Red Sox and the UMaine Black Bears. He had been a resident of Treats Falls House in Orono for a number of years where he enjoyed participating in many activities and outings. His family is extremely appreciative of the loving care and support he received there.
Bruce is survived by four siblings, Frank Woodard and his wife Jean of Falmouth, Barbara Garnett of Hallowell, Neil Woodard of Skowhegan and Gregg Woodard of Bingham; and special nephews, Craig Woodard of S. Hadley, Mass. and Steven Woodard of Cumberland. He was predeceased by a sister, Edith Garnett.
