Harold G. Brewer, age 71, died at Thomaston, Maine Monday evening after a brief illness.  He was born in Bar Harbor, March 4th, 1881 but had lived in Rockland and Thomaston for the past ten years.  He was the oldest son of the late Chester and Lillian (Griffin) Brewer and was a gardener for many years and caretaker at The Willows cottage.
He was married to Bernice Tenan who died many years ago.  He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Shirley Haraden and one brother, Irving Brewer, both of Bar Harbor,
Funeral services were held at the Sherman Funeral Home this afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial at the Ledgelawn Cemetery.
