Mrs. Minnie Landes Emery, widow of the late George L. Emery, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Benedict, in Bar Harbor Saturday following a long illness.
Born July 19, 1873, in Providence, R.I., she had resided in Bar Harbor for nearly 50 years.  Two daughters and three sons survive, Mrs. A.S. Knight of Reading, Mass., mrs. Harry Benedict of Bar Harbor and George L. Emery of Brooklyn, N.Y.;  two sons of a previous marriage, Zenas W. Tabbutt of Belfast and Arthur M. Tabbutt of Washington, D.C.;  also 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Rev. Homer Nelson officiated at the funeral services Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Benedict.  Bearers were Asa Hodgkins, Richard Macpike Jr., David Peterson and James Ryan, burial was in the Hulls Cove Cemetery.
