Mrs. Mae D. Horne, 83, passed away at an Augusta hosptal on Saturday, Feb. 7th, after a long illness.
She was born July 23, 1869 on Gotts Island, the daughter of Dennis and Rose Driscoll.  For many years she lived in Andover, Mass. and was a member of Trinity Congregational Church in Lawrence, Mass..  Her husband, Byron Horne, passd away in 1932.
Mrs. Horne is sutvived by two sisters, Mrs. Clark Philips of Southwest Harbor and Mrs. Sarah Capen of Portland;  a nephew and a niece, Lawrence D. Philips and Mrs. Elise Philips Marshall, both of Southwest Harbor.
Private funeral services were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Philips Monday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. Gordon Heriot officiating.
Burial was at mount Heigth Cemetery.
