The Funeral of Vera May Emerson, aged 7 months, daughter of Mrs. Ella Emerson, was held at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Waining, Saturday, February 20. Deacon H.P. Burrill officiated with prayer and scripture reading. Mr. and Mrs. Burrill sang 'Close the Door Lightly' and 'Sleep My Little One, Sleep.'
J.T. Black had charge of arrangements. The internment was in Parker Cemetery.
Her parents were Leroy Ivan Emerson and Ella Louise Waining.
On her death record cause of death is listed as strangulation.
