Nellie B. Chatto, 78, died Saturday at MDI hospital.
She was born at Tremont November 4, 1881, the daughter of Carlton abd Rebecca (Smith) Dow.
She is survived by one sister, Miss Estella Dow of Bar Harbor and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at the Fernald Funeral Home, Mount Desert, Tuesday with the Rev. John Manter of the Mount Desert Larger Parish officiating.
Burial was in Somes Cemetery, Seal Cove.
