Mrs. Estella Maria Ross, 85, widow of Daniel Ross, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Byard at Rockland after a long illness.
She was born in Sedgwick March 30, 1868, the daughter of Levan and Alice Carter.
Mrs. Ross is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Byard of Rockland and Mrs. Alice Carter of Bar Harbor, one son, William, of Bar Harbor, a brother, Llewellyn Carter of Sedgwick, one sister, Miss. Edith Carter  of Bar Harbor, six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1;30 o'clock at the Sherman Funeral Home at Bar Harbor with burial in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, North Sedgwick.
