Grover M. Hancock, 76, of Manset, died Monday at an Ellsworth Hospital after a short illness.
He was born at Ellsworth, September 19, 1889, the son of Charles and Elnora (Kincaid) Hancock.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Athalana (Herren) Hancock of Manset, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Colson, of Steuben, two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Armstrong of Ellsworth and Mrs. Marion Ahrene of Marshfield, Mass..
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Fernald Funeral Chapel at Mt. Desert with the Rev. David Glendenning officiating.
Internment was in Mt. Heigth Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
