Hallowell - Harold S. Shorey, 74, died Friday in a New Gloucester hospital following a long illness.
He was born in Hallowell, April 29, 1897, the son of Fred and Mary Ingraham Shorey.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernest Shorey, Manchester, and Raymond Shorey, Augusta, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 this morning from 15 Flagg St., Augusta.
Burial will be in the Hallowell Cemetery in the spring.
