Mr. Frederick M. Jordan, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvanus Jordan, lately of Bar Harbor, died suddenly Monday morning of heart trouble at the Beal farm, Bangor, where he and his family have made their home since his father purchased the place a few years ago.  Mr. Jordan was 43 years old and leaves a wife, the daughter of the lateCol. Black, of Ellsworth, and one child, a daughter, two sisters;  Mrs. Teresa Clark of Bar Harbor, and Mrs. Herbert L. Cleaves of Sullivan Harbor, and one brother, Mr. William Jordan of Bar Harbor, all of whom will attend the funeral today at Ellsworth, the Jordan's former home.  Mr. and Mrs. Jordan have the sympathy of all in this first break in their happy family circle.

Sylvanus Jordan, a well-known resident of Bar Harbor, formerly of Ellsworth, died Thursday, aged eighty-five years. Mr. Jordan was largely interested in real estate in Bar Harbor in the "boom" days of the resort, and was prominently identified with the early development of the town. His health had been failing for more than a year past. He leaves a widow, one son, William Jordan, and a daughter, Mrs. Theresa Clark.

Was 91 Years of Age and One of Town's Oldest Residents
(Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jordan, one of the oldest residents of Bar Harbor and a lady highly esteemed in the community, died Saturday at the home of her son, William Jordan. Mrs. Jordan was 91 years of age and had made her home in Bar Harbor for 39 years. She was the widow of Sylvanus Jordan. Mrs. Jordan was born in Amherst October 29, 1827, the daughter of Abram and Hannah (Wiley) )
