Mrs. Nellie M. Harvey, wife of Fred A. Harvey, the contractor, died at her home last Friday afternoon at three o'clock, aged 48 years, five months. Death was due to heart trouble and was not unexpected, as her health has been a matter of much anxiety to her family and friends for some time. Mrs. Harvey was born in Trenton, the daughter of Captain and Mrs. Eben (Mary Moore) Walls. The funeral was held in the clark Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church, of which she was a member. Monday at 1 p.m. the pastor Dr. Leltch, officiatings. The flowers were beautiful. The Surpllce choir rendered two hymes, and Merrill Leltch played Chopin's Funeral March. The bearers were H.H. Wilson, M.A. gott, J.A. Guthrie, and J.C. Taylor.
The burial was at Ledgelawn Cemetery. Besides her husband Mrs. Harvey is survived by three children, Everett Harvey - editor of the Bar Harbor Times, Miss Lula Marie Harvey - a student in the high school, and by a small son Frank Alton, nine years old, also by one brother, Frank E. Walls, Bar Harbor.
Mr. and Mrs. Walls arrived in town Saturday from Auburn. The family have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
Mrs. Harvey belonged to the Ladies aid Society of her church, and was much respected. She was a devoted wife and mother.
The loss of Mrs. Harvey was most tenderly referred to on Sunday at both services in the Methodist Church and in the nSunday School. Flowers and a letter of sympathy were sent by the Sunday school. The adult Bible class of which Mrs. Harvey was a valued and loved member, sent some beautiful violets, together with a letter of sympathy.
