HAMOR - MARY A. "SPURLING" - Hulls Cove

Mrs. Mary A. Hamor, a widow of the late Orrington Hamor, died at her home at the Ovens, last Saturday morning.  Mrs. Hamor's health has been failing for the past six weeks, and death was hastened by a fall that she sustained.  She was 75 years old.  The funeral was held at 2;30 Monday from her home.  Rev. Angus M. Mcdonald officiating, the burial being in Hulls Cove Cemetery.  A quartette, Mrs. George F. Berry, Mrs. Hugh Spratt, Fred Wescott and J.M. Millken, sang.  Mrs. Hamor was a member of the Baptist church at Salisbury Cove, a devoted christian, loved by all who knew her.  She is survived by two sons, John and Harry Hamor;  and two daughters, Mrs. Walter Rodick and Miss Evelyn Hamor.

Mary Ann Spurling married Orrington Hamor on Dec. 26, 1856.
