EMERY - AGNES MABEL - Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor Record
Feb. 8, 1899

Mrs. Agnes Mabel Emery, wife of Mr. Raymond Emery, died at her home on Ledgelawn Avenue early Sunday morning after a painful illness of nearly six months.  Mrs. Emery was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram J. Emery and was not quite twenty years of age.  She was married Jan. 1,  1898.  Her illness began last August with typhoid fever, and since that time she has been confined to her home, a paient sufferer from a complication of troubles.  The deceased and her husband were both members of the Baptist Church.  She was a most estimable young lady, respected and loved by all who knew her, and her life was full of promise for a pure and noble womanhood.  The breaved husband and parents have the sincere sympathy of all in their great sorrow.  Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church in this village, Rev. Richard Owen officiating;  and the internment took place in the family cemetery at Eden.  Mr. Frank E. sherman took charge of the funeral.
