The funeral services of Amos Brown who passed away at his hom feburary 1st, after months of intense suffering with cancer of the stomach, took place at the Methodist Church thursday afternoon. The Masonic ritual service followed the sermon by rev. Harry Hill. A large number of Masons and members of the O.E.S., together with representatives of the Knights of Pythias, were present with many relatives and neighbors. Mr. Brown leaves a widow, three sons, and three daughters, a brother and three sisters who have the sympathy of a host of friends in their bereavement. Interment was at Mt. Height.
