DAICY - LOUIE LUCY "NORWOOD" - Portland

Louie Lucy Norwood was born on April 26, 1861 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Elias and Mary Jane Campbell Norwood. She lived in Portland, Maine in 1870 and 1880 when she was nine and nineteen years old.

She married Charles H. Daicy, on January 8, 1880, son of Daniel and Ann Daicy in Portland, Maine when she was 18 years old. They had seven children in 17 years. Flora was born in August, 1881 and only lived a few months; Arthur was born on October 7, 1883; Eva May was born in August, 1885; Marion was born on December 1, 1887; Chester Wilbur was born on July 3, 1889; Mamie was born on July 13, 1890 and died on September 8, 1890; and Maude L. was born in November in 1898. All their children were born in Portland, Maine.

Her husband Charles passed away on July 5, 1913 in Portland at the age of 60. They had been married, living in Portland, for 33 years.

Lucy continued living in Portland and by 1930 she was residing with her mother-in-law.

Lucy passed away on March 20, 1936, still living in Portland, ate age 74. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Portland.
