NORWOOD - LORENZO - Bidderford

Lorenzo Norwood, a resident of Biddeford for 75 years, died last night at his home @ 585 Pool Road @ age of 78 yrs. 7 mos. 13 dys. He was the son of Abraham & Mary (Mitchell) Norwood. He was light house keeper of Wood Island Lighthouse for many years. He was known and held in high esteem by many friends in this section. He leaves 2 brothers, James and Nelson Norwood and a sister Mary (Norwood) Callahan. Services will be held at Dennett & Craig.

From Albert's death notice:

For a number of years with his brother Albert, he conducted pleasure boats (Called "The Brothers") between Biddeford wharf and Camp Ellis to Biddeford Pool. After giving it up they both devoted their time exclusively to fishing and were two of the veteran fisherman of the Pool Colony.
